“Apparently I have a search. The police is knocking,” – Dobrokhotov tweeted.
The reason for the search at Dobrokhotov’s could have been a libel case initiated in April at the request of the Dutch journalist Maximilian Bernardus Wilem Van der Werff. Earlier, The Insider reported that this journalist collaborated with the GRU and received money from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for disseminating information about the downed Boeing in Donbass.
The police also came with searches to Dobrokhotov’s parents.
Roman Dobrokhotov is a witness in the case. This is reported by “Pravozashchita Otkritki” with reference to the lawyer Oksana Oparenko.
During the search, the police seized mobile phones, laptop, tablets and Dobrokhotov international passport.
